KMD Implementation (Basic skilled courses), UPY PGSD Study Program 2022

In order to prepare a prospective scout coach, PGRI University Yogyakarta (UPY) in collaboration with the Head of the Bantul Scout Movement Branch has held Basic skilled courses (KMD) for 246 student PGSD Batch 2022. This course takes place on the date 13-18 January 2025 on the unit campus 4 UPY, Poor Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta.

This activity aims to provide a deeper understanding of Scout Movement to students. During the course, The participants were taught the various skills and knowledge needed to become competent scout coaches. The material presented includes the basics of scouting, scouting techniques, Management of Scout Activities, and character development and leadership.

Besides that, This course also provides opportunities for students to interact and share experiences with experienced scout coaches. This can open new insights and enrich their knowledge of Scout Movement.

With the holding of this KMD the students are able to become prospective scout coaches who are Handarbeni, namely having a sense of responsibility and has an emotional attachment to Scout Movement. They are expected to be able to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the courses in Scouting activities in their respective schools or communities.

In the long run, It is hoped that the prospective scout coaches who Handarbeni can contribute to forming a young generation, Leader's soul, and have a high social concern.
