Bantul - as much as 517 PGRI YOGYAKARTA UNIVERSITY STUDENTS (UPY) follow Basic skilled courses (KMD) which was held on campus 2 and campus 4 PGRI University Yogyakarta. This KMD activity was attended by all elementary school teacher education students (PGSD) year generation 2021 and year 2022.

KMD activities are carried out as an effort to prepare prospective scout coaches, PGRI University Yogyakarta (UPY) in collaboration with the Branch Level Scouting Education and Training Center (Pusdiklatcab) Bantul in conducting basic proficient courses (KMD). This course is divided into two waves. Kmd wave 1 held on Monday-Saturday (13-18/1/2025) on campus 4 Yogyakarta PGRI University and followed by 245 class student 2022. Meanwhile, Kmd wave 2 held on Monday (27/1/2025) until Saturday (1/2/2025) and followed by 272 class student 2021.

Therefore, It is expected that all students can follow the entire series of KMD activities from beginning to end well and disciplined so that the process of delivering material by the coach's brothers can take place smoothly.
Opening of KMD UPY Year 2025 followed also by Kak eko perianto, S.Pd., M.Pd as Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. UPY handed over his students to the Bantul Pusdiklatcab Pusdiklatcab to be fostered and trained to have broader scouting insights, as well as adequate skills to foster the front group. Besides that, It is expected that students will also be able to understand, appreciate, and apply the scouting method effectively in accordance with applicable rules.
Center for Scouting Education and Training in Branch Level (Pusdiklatcab) Bantul together with the UPY PGSD Study Program synergized in the implementation of this KMD. KMD is carried out with a variety of activities and is packed with an interesting delivery method. Not only theory in the classroom, But practical activities in the field are also the essence of this KMD.

KMD activities each wave was carried out for six full days which was packaged in the theoretical methods for two days and field practice for four days. On the peak night of the good KMD waves 1 or waves 2 a campfire activity and art performances were attended by all KMD and Kaka-Kakak-coach participants.
On the last day of the KMD implementation, Participants are asked to do the practice of fostering which is then judged by the coach's brothers. This is intended so that the participants really understand the methods and materials, as well as having skills in carrying out coaching in the front group later. After carrying out the practice of fostering, Participants were also asked to fill out a follow -up plan (RTL) To find out the programs and plans to be implemented after attending the course.

The entire KMD network ends on waves 2, Saturday (1/2/2025) on campus 2 PGRI University Yogyakarta. KMD activity was then closed with an open forum session. In this session the KMD participants together with the coach and the course leader held a discussion and question and answer related to the KMD series that had been carried out.
