SUCCESS!! International PKM Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of PGRI Yogjakarta which was represented by 5 Ministry of Defense Study Program

Yogjakarta, 3 Mei 2025 - Team Team of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) PGRI University Yogyakarta (UPY) Success in carrying out community service activities (PKM) International at the Indonesian school kuala lumpur (Cycle). This activity raised the title "Project Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile: Batik Cultural Literacy in Indonesian Schools Overseas ". as part of efforts to preserve and develop Indonesian culture abroad.

Lecturer from five upy fkip study programs, that is led by Dr. Muhardila Fauziah, S.Pd.I., M.Pd from the Basic Education Sudi Program which is a part of the English Language Education Study Program represented by Sriwiyanah, M.Pd., PGSD Study Program is represented by Dr.. Ningrum Perwitasari, M.Pd. and Dr.. Cela Septikasa, M.Pd., Mathematics Study Program is represented by Siska Candra Ningsih, S.Si, M.Pd., and PPG Study Program is represented by Dr.Dhiniaty Gularso, S.Si, M.Pd., including students from each study program. This activity is carried out by elementary students and cycles in the practice of making batik. Children learn to draw batik patterns, Stinging a night, and coloring with direct guidance. In the first session in October 2024, Participants were introduced to batik philosophy and typical motifs of Kraton Yogyakarta, Equipped with the delivery of batik pocket books as a learning resource.

On this occasion PKM activities will end with the submission of batik and batik technology innovations, including ergonomic batik stamp tools and digital motif design software, submitted by the Head of Team PKM Upy, Dr. Muhardila Fauziah, Representatives from Basic Education Study Program, To Public Relations SIKL. Principal represented by Public Relations SIKL, Budi, appreciate the assistance and hope to improve the quality of learning cultural arts in schools.
